Pumpkin Pie (English)

Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie is one of the common deserts served during American Thanksgiving. The reason why pumpkin pie has become a Thanksgiving tradition can be traced back to when the Native Americans brought pumpkins as gifts to the first settlers, and taught them the many uses for pumpkin. This, therefore, led to serving pumpkin pie at the first Thanksgiving held in America approximately 50 years later.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
